Registration Steps
- Learn about your Capstone experience.
- Check your APAS to ensure you have completed the prerequisites for the capstone:
- PSY foundation courses (PSY 1001, 3801, and 3001W)
- All 5 of the PSY distribution areas (A, B, and C)
- Senior status (90 credits completed or in progress across all courses)
- For BS students: 12 credits of Outside Psych Foundation Courses
- Register for the capstone class (PSY 3901W, 3902W, or 3903W) as soon as your registration queue opens.
- For BS students: Register for PSY 3901W even if you do not have a research lab position yet.
- For BS students: PSY 4993, PSY 5993, or CPSY 4994 must be one semester before or at the same time as PSY 3901W.
- Address any class-specific next steps, if any, before the first day of class.
Psychology Undergraduate Advising monitors capstone enrollment to ensure that all students have fulfilled the necessary prerequisites. You will be dropped from the course if the prerequisites are not met. If you have questions about your preparation for the capstone course, contact Psychology Undergraduate Advising.
